Advertising Space Sales

Silk Purse Women seeks a seasoned salesperson to become a key member of our
team, with the potential to assume greater responsibilities in the future. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Sales, the successful candidate will enjoy unlimited financial reward based upon performance and a flexible work schedule.

Key responsibilities:
The position is responsible for generating ad space sales primarily through cold calling on the phone along with diligent follow-up and ongoing relationship management.

Specific administrative duties include:
   • Initiation and receipt of signed Insertion Orders
   • Submission of weekly sales contact reports

Experience requirements:
Minimum of five years of experience in sales with a documented record of success.
Must be a closer. Advertising space sales experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Other requirements:
Must have own transportation and working environment.

Compensation:
Base plus commissions.
